Rehearse the change before the business feels it.
A feature can look right while data or permissions go wrong. Check the behavior that matters, not only the screenshot.
Start with an approved scenario.
Link the business rule to controlled inputs, permitted actions and expected results. Select the baseline and candidate release, with clear external-service boundaries.
Expose the hidden difference.
For example, moving a reservation may succeed while allowing one office to change another office’s records. Show the violated rule and evidence, not just a red test count.
Correct, retest and decide.
Failed required checks block acceptance. A corrected candidate is tested again. Mocked or untested integrations remain visible; a green result is never a claim of universal correctness.
